Full Description
{1} Soil mark and finds scatter observed during ploughing between August 1993 and March 1994. An area of dark soil roughly square in shape was seen in the corner of the field. Pottery included grey wares, coarse wares, plain Samian and Nene Valley wares. Coins included one sestertius of Marcus Aurelius, one coin of Allectus and 10 coins of the 3rd and 4th century. One fragment of a thick, ribbed-decorated bracelet and various pieces of copper, bronze and brass were found. The site may have been part of the SP 932650 area, now separated by a hedgerow and a farm track.
