Full Description
{1}Scatter of pottery sherds and metalwork fragments observed during various stages of ploughing. Included red shelly ware, various strap-ends and belt fitments, one 14th century bronze buckle, part of a 16th century spur, a penny of Henry III, a ?Tudor lead wool seal, four other stamped sack seals and one Elizabeth I rosa.
{2}Scatter of pottery sherds and metalwork fragments observed during various stages of ploughing between August 1993 and March 1994. Included part of a bell rim of probable 18th century.Fragments of finger rings, three brass/copper thimbles of 17th and 18th century date. Three spoon bowls of 17th/18thcentury.Various other items of copper, brass and bronze. Coins from James I to William IV.
