Full Description
{1} Small hut previously used as accomodation for prisoner of war camp. Blockwork and timber construction with pitched corrugated roof. Fair degree of intactness.
{3} A group of MOWP Standard huts (Ministry of Works and Planning) at SP 50175337. These were introduced in autumn 1942 and consisted of a concrete frame that could be roofed and walled in whatever materials were available. These examples have corrugated asbestos roofs and hollow clay brick walls, except around the door frames, where conventional bricks have been used." Presence of pigs prevented closer inspection!
