Full Description
{1} A ditch 2.30m wide and 0.20m deep observed during watching brief. Dark brown loamy clay fill contained 18th and 19th century pottery, slag, slate, bottle glass etc. The ditch runs north-west to south-east and appears to continue the line of an extant but shallow bank and ditch earthwork extending from the boundary wall of Steane Park.
