Full Description

{1} There were a selection of other industries within Wollaston. Ironstone quarrying has been identified, but not dated. However it is believed to be post-1884 as it is not shown on the 1st edition OS map and was an extension of the quarrying at Irchester. (Brickworks are shown on the 2nd edition map, and David Hall notes the presence of lime kilns to the north of the village.)

{2} Roughly mapped from Tonks' drawings.
