Full Description

{2} Trench 1 contained layers of back fill from the former quarry. Trench 2 located in the south east of the garden contained a quarry cut with sloping sides approximately 45 degrees. The base of the quarry cut continued to slope gently towards the west. The layers within this cut contained china, glass, brick and slate.
