Full Description

{1} Source: discarded letter from C.Smith dated 29.5.96 "East Carlton Hall was used as the wartime HQ for steel making in the area and there are two air raid shelters remaining within the park. According to reports these were used primarily for the safe storage of documents relating to wartime steel production, not for the safety of the workers in the Hall! They were sealed some time ago although it would probably still be possible to gain access." Locations of buildings not identified.
