Full Description
{1} An inn named the Crown was in existence in the town in 1830. The building is located on the west side of High Street from 1887 onwards. The building remains today and the bottom part of the structure is being used as a carpet shop. The frontage has been considerably re-modelled with brick and rendering, but behind lies a stone building. The structure may have high potential for surviving features relating to its early use as an inn.
