Full Description

{1}The former co-op building sits lengthways alongside West Stree; the roadside elevation seeingly a modification to the structure in order to accommodate the Co-op shop frontage. Originally the structure may have had an agricultural or light industrial use. The roof is Welsh slate. It should not be discounted that the structure was either purpose built or a conversion of a structure already built and owned by the Cooperative Society. Likely date of construction is c.1850.,{2}Three colour photographs taken in May 1998 of the former Co-op building situate in West Street, Geddington.
