Full Description

{1} Apart from residual sherds the pottery was of early Romano British date. There was little evidence of activity carried out within the enclosures but the recovery of loomweight fragments points to the existence of a domestic settlement. A quantity of daub, including one with a wattle impression was also found in ditch D indicating the presence of structures within the enclosure nearby. A quantity of animal bone was also recovered.
