Full Description

{1} Apart from the earthworks that are associated with the bunkers and the railway the only other clearly military earthworks were a number of foxholes located in the woodland area E. These generally comprise small rectangular depressions (typically c.2 x 1.5m). Traces of external dumps of spoil are evident around many such features, though in all instances it appears that attempts have been made to backfill the excavations.
