Full Description

{1} Trila trench excavation identified a shallow ditch which was up to 1.20 metres wide and 150mm deep. The feature was undated. Three recent postholes cutting a modern pipe trench. A broad hollow containing three layers. One layer comprised of roughly laid limestones. The bottom layer contained earthernware, brick and tile. The purpose of the hollow is uncertain. The feature was cut away to the south by a gully 620mm wide and 200mm deep.
