Full Description

{1} Metal pin found with its point missing and a decorated head, flattened section thought it maybe a spoon handle (?C16-17th). Also a small metal weight with rounded corners, thought to be medieval or later. Also a Tudor penny from the York mint and a curved metal fragment of an unknown date. Also a lead fragment that maybe part of a bullet, date not known. These are just some of the finds found scattered over an area and discovered using a metal detector. The field worker was N. Howe.
