Full Description
{1}The remains of the riverside wharf that served Smiths Timber Company as SP 7557/5977. This comprises a series of metal girders set horizontally into the riverside wall so as to project out into the river. Only a few pieces of the timber decking survive. According to local information the wharf was used only about three times from the early 1960's, though prior to this it had been in regular use.
