Full Description

{1} 1207 the brothers of St John of Jerusalem were accused of having greyhounds without licence in the park of Blaculuesl.

{2} There are references to a medieval deer park at Blakesley [name:SP 6250] but this has not been located.

{3} In 1240 the knights of St John had grant of free warren, which was confirmed in 1280.
