Full Description
{1}The Spencer Bridge Defended Locality was apparently position at the junction of St Andrews Road and Grafton Street where it was easier to defend than the bridge itself where there was open ground on one sid. It was manned by members of the original D Company of the 12th Northamptonshire Battalion Home Guard.
