Full Description
{1} 14 sherds of middle iron age potery including one with La Tene curvilinear decoration from Towcester, the Bell Plantation. One other parallel found in Towcester from Bury Mount (The Defences of Towcester by C. Woodfield, Northamptonshire Archaeology). Also 11 Roman sherds were found of C1st -2nd date. The owner recalls 'much pottery' in the area.
{2} 1 Middle Iron Age potsherd found
{3} 21 sherds of Iron Age and Roman pottery. Much more pottery also picked up by the site owner. Possibly the same finds as described in {1} above.
