Full Description

{1} A late Bronze Age spearhead is said to have been found in the parish in the 19th century; part of the ash wood shaft survived in the scoket; it was exhibited;

{4} Obtained by Northampton Museum in 1980 when the contents of Canons Ashby Hall were auctioned. The spearhead is 7 and a half inches long, having a broad, leaf-shaped blade. It was found in the parish in 1863.
