Full Description

{1}Romano-British pot sherds & animal bone & some human bone revealed over large area; no stonework other than wells revealed; since then [?1904] isolated finds of urns & pottery & coins & a few bronze objects have been made along with north-south orientated burials; unclear exactly where these finds were made; burial evidence could be from area of previously located burials in Stonylands; in area of Blandford Av & Neale Av "....numerous pits or holes of various depths & shapes filled with black earth & containing fragments of pottery & animal bone;
