Full Description
{1} "Brick gun pit, thicker on the road side, with a small shelter and ammunition locker. Set into the concrete floor are eight small bolts for the gun mount. There are two climbing handles on the road side of the pit." Brick and concrete. Good condition. Location plan, two photographs and scale plan accompany report form.
{2} Chipping Warden Airfield - "The Anti-Aircraft position is an interesting find and is not mentioned in the MPP volume on light AA. The presence of the bolt ring suggests a weapon of 20mm calibre, perhaps the 20mm Hispano gun, used in fighter aircraft and as a crudely adapted LAA weapon by the RAF."
{3] ANTI AIRCRAFT GUN EMPLACEMENT.
