Full Description

{1} S. Hall of Wadenhoe, in October 1997 observed a WWII searchlight battery. This was also confirmed by other local residents and a field visit by G Cadman and M Ellison on 18/11/1997. The anti-aircraft and searchlight battery is located in a field off the Aldwincle to Stoke Doyle Road. The field is currently under cultivation with no visible signs of the battery.
