{1} At c.SP99818575, alongside the soouth-east edge of Bearshanks Wood (also on the 1950 revised edition of 1:10560 OS maps) is a track with at least three nissen hut type buildings. There is a 'compound' at the south-west end with an adjoining structure, possible a tower, set within a fenced compound. Possible accommodation/service area for bombing range?
