Full Description

{1}The relationship of the buildings to a recently identified blocked gateway in the existing boundary suggests that at least one of them the gatehouse described in 1649; PRO: V/VII/V/I/24:LO:DIV/70;There are various phases to this building. Phase 2 is thought to maybe contempoary to the limestone cobbled courtyard.

{2} The 15th century gatehouse was demolished in the mid 18th century.
