Full Description

{1} Partially buried concrete building, with entrance to south, located in the extreme north west corner of the Old Cattlemarket site at the corner of Victoria promenade and Cattlemarket Road. Of uncertain origin and function with no obvious military association.

{2} D. Smith recalls that this was an air-raid shelter, probably for cattle market users. Currently the door is padlocked and the interior inaccessible.
