Full Description

{1}Other material of pre-Iron Age date consisted of residual flintwork of Neolithic/Early Bronze Age. Some in Area 3 were found in in two of the Iron Age features (the gully and ditch) and similar from the Iron Age pits in Area 2. The latter pit of this area also yielded an unfinished tanged arrowhead of late Neolithic/ Early Bronze Age.
