Full Description

{2} "To Watford belongs ... Cumberford a depopulated village in an inclosed Manor, now reduced to one house..... The old Manor House of Comberford is the crown ale house...." [No information gained from Tithe Map.]

{3} No information from tithe map and no trace of desertion near Watford.

{4} No trace of desertion was noted in the proximity of Watford. Neither the "Old Manor House of Cumberford" nor "The Crown Ale House" was located.
