Full Description
{1} Ring ditch and enclosure (SP 65867803),SW of Portly Ford Bridge,in the N of the parish,on gravel at 152m above OD. Air photographs (in NMR) show three sides of a small trapezoidal enclosure only 20m by 25 m,with a ring ditch 8m in diam. within it.
[HER note 13/11/2014: Air photo plots suggest that the ring ditch lies c.20m to the north-east of the enclosure, not within it, however this ring ditch was not picked up by NMP.]
