{2} Cropmarks remains of a 'banjo' enclosure with associated curvilinear enclosures and linear boundaries of probable Late Iron Age date are visible on aerial photographs centred at SP 5660 3483. The `banjo' enclosure is centred at SP 5664 3485 and has an irregular curvilinear form (measuring approximately 57m x 40m), with an elongated ditched defined entrance extending north-east from the enclosure for approximately 58m. The western ditch of this elongated entrance has a sub-divided irregular curvilinear enclosure, attached to its north-west extent at SP 5656 3493. Linear ditches forming two elongated enclosures south from the main enclosure for approximately 117m and there is a curvilinear enclosure south-west of the main banjo enclosure, approximately 24m in diameter with a possible eastern entrance. Further boundary ditches are located to the west and north-west of the main enclosure which may be the remains of further enclosures. These features were visible on aerial photographs taken by English Heritage in 2006 and have been mapped as part of the Northamptonshire NMP project
