Summary

Cropmarks of enclosures, pits and a ring ditch identified on aerial photographs during the Northants NMP. Fieldwalking survey identified a small number of Roman pottery sherds and a patch of dark soil in the vicinity.

{1} Cropmarks identifiied on aerial photographs.

{2} Aerial photographs taken by Historic England show the large horseshe shaped-enclosure with a ring ditch located at the open end. The ring ditch may be double-ditched. Further features are visible to the north, but the extensive land drains mask the archaeology.
