Full Description

{1} CPMKS; 1989; STEVE UPEX; TWO RING DITCHES; NORTHERN-MOST MUCH LARGER & MAY BE CIRCULAR ENCLOSURE RATHER THAN ROUND BARROW; LIGHT GRAVEL INTERIORS MAY INDICATE REMNANTS OF MOUND.

{2} A square, double-ditched enclosure c.0.06ha internally, and other smaller rectangular enclosures. Barrow 1 is a complete ring ditch 30m in diameter, and two incomplete possible ring ditches form Barrows 2 and 3, the latter lying partially under the present road line. The features appear to represent a small prehistoric barrow cemetery. Barrows 1 and 2 are still visible as slight mounds.
