Full Description

{1} Area centred on TL066990 is the most prolific site in the whole nieghbourhood for Neolithic flints. The finds were first discovered in the 1930s and distributed to local schools. Further finds have been discovered since in the same location. 'Badly fired Castor ware', first discovered in the 1930s and distributed to local schools. Further finds from the same location since.

{4} Mr. Wyman Abbot confirmed the siting and said his finds of flint and pottery (badly fired Castor ware) were distributed to local schools.First discovered in the 1930's since when "flint and sherds can be found at any time." Presently a hayfield, perambulated but nothing of interest found.
