Monument record 3364 - Possible Romano-British Settlement
Please read our guidance about the use of Northamptonshire Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
Cropmarks of a possible ditch system and large pit/waterhole were identified on aerial photographs during the Northamptonshire NMP. Lidar imagery suggests that the ditch features survive as low earthworks and extend into the fields to the north. Fieldwalking survey in the vicinity has recovered Roman pottery.
