Summary
Earthworks of a pond depicted on an early 19th-century map. Medieval pond remains located immediately west of Rushton Lodge in the valley of a small south flowing stream. All that remains is a roughly rectangular area, now almost dry, with traces of a bank or dam to the south.

Full Description
{1} All that remains of the pond is a roughly rectangular area, now almost dry, with traces of a bank or dam, up to 1m high on the south. In 1837 it was a much larger pond, of irregular shape with a triangular island within it.
