Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking in the late 1950s identified Romano-British pot sherds.

{3} [ SP 7125 8674 ] R.B. pottery, etc.

{2} A surface scatter of R.B. potsherds found on the ploughed field in the last five years. [Sherds not kept.]

{3} Four sherds of R.B. pottery, including a small rim-fragment, were found on the surface of this stubble field, by this investigator. (Sherds deposited in Market Harborough Museum). The site is on the western slope of a small hill, near the river Welland. No other finds were made.

{4} Nothing is visible in this area on A.P.s.
