Full Description

{1} c.SP 742 672. A well, 8.5m deep and 0.61m wide, found in ironstone workings at Station Rd in 1934 contained pottery,
fragments of embossed leather and animal bones (a). In the same area "Human remains and (another) well found" (b). Listed as Roman finds.
