Full Description

{1} Site of Tumuli (SP 751446) "In a field adjoining (Moor End Castle SP 74 SE 14), towards Watling Street, are tumuli, one an oblong shape, and two circular" (not visible on AP's).

{2} The tumuli are unlocated; not visible on recent aerial photographs.

{3} Three 'tumuli' are described in C19th records but no trace now remains.

{4} Not located.
