Full Description

{1} An area of possible Iron Age and/or Roman settlement enclosures is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and was mapped as part of the Bedford Borough NMP project. They are located east of Stanwick Pastures and centred at TL 00724 69918. A circular enclosure measuring about 15metres across is the main focus with adjoining enclosures to its west and a probable associated linear feature to the north east.
