Extensive area of large multi-phase settlement comprising ditched enclosures, boundary ditches, pits and possible buildings. Identified through aerial photographs and geophysical survey.

Full Description
{1} Geophysical survey found that the higher ground within the northern part of the proposed extension area of the golf course contained numerous anomalies of archaeological origin. A series of enclosures covers the northern half of the proposed extension area. Among these are anomalies corresponding with those visible on aerial photographs.
