Full Description

{2} Possible orchard shown at back of Rectory in 1585 (Rockingham Forest Project interpretation).

{3} Bryant shows the parsonage almost directly opposite the church (and on the other side of a stream), but with only a small enclosure around it at this time and no indication of a park at this time.

{4} A considerable area of ornamental planting is evident by the late C19th. Scattered trees (both conifer and deciduous) close to the rectory, but an extension south-eastwards shows a more open area with possible tree belts.
