Two Roman burials were found to the north of the Roman road in the 1960s.

Full Description

{1} 2 skeletons were found in stone lined graves at the southern edge of the furlong to the north of the Fay Way, in the 1960s. "A blow had struck off a piece of bone from one of the skulls." 4th century AD pot sherds were found in association with the skeletons.
