Full Description
{1} Roman settlement (?)(centred TL 036788) around Town Hill Coppice, SE of the village, on Boulder Clay at 200 ft. above OD. Roman pottery was found in this area in the 1960s, and more recently further pottery and limestone rubble have been noted.
