Summary

Cropmarks of an extensive late prehistoric and/or Roman settlement identified on aerial photographs. The cropmarks include probable trackways, along which regular and irregular shaped enclosures are appended. There is evidence of possible buildings including a possible stone-founded aisled building, as well as ring ditches and pits. HER note 06/05/2014: mapping of the settlement has been extended to include cropmarks to the immediate south-east which were not interpreted as part of NMP.
