Summary

Cropmark including that of a ring ditch located northeast of the village close to the Yarwell parish boundary. Visible only from the air. Undated linear features also recorded to the south-west during the Northants NMP project.

Full Description

{1} TL 071 971: Cropmarks including one large circle discovered on an air photograph.

{2} Site now under corn stubble. There is no surface indication of the circle and no finds were made during perambulation. The farmer has no knowledge of the marks.

{3} TL 0710 9707: Ring ditch located northeast of the village close to the Yarwell parish boundary, on limestone at 100 feet above OD overlooking the River Nene. Diameter of 20 metres.
