Air photographs suggest possible field system. One of the boundaries has been interpreted as a pit alignment during the Northamptonshire NMP.

Full Description

{1} SP 980959. Cropmarks of field systems on air photograph (a).

{2} Aps (b) examined show no field systems evident; the indicated NGR falls within an extensive area, formerly a park, now under crop and not perambulated. Apart from natural ground undulations the crop is quite level and regular showing no evidence of early agriculture.

{3}Two linear ditches crossing at right angles at SP 983957.
