Title Report Of An Archaeological Evaluation At Earls Barton
Author/Originator
Date/Year 2001
SMR Input Date (use for label searches) 13/08/03

Abstract/Summary

The evaluation revealed no evidence of archaeological remains cutting into the subsoil within the excavated area. There were some finds from the topsoil, but these were composed of a single flint flake, a single medieval sherd, six medieval/post-medieval and modern metalwork. These would be typical of the sort of durable waste generated by the neighbouring settlement.
