Abstract/Summary

Geophysical survey of a to determine the extent of iron-working activity on/around the site, and to determine whether further furnaces or other structures were present within the excavation area. The survey was generally successful in determining that iron working activity did not extend to the west/ north-west of the excavation site. The furnace previously discovered on the site and possible related anomalies were identified; several other clusters of positive data was also identified which may relate to iron working activity.
