SNN101429 - A6 Rushden - Higham Ferrers Bypass Archaeology Brief - DRAFT

The purpose of this report is to develop an agreed brief that defines the objectives, strategy and procedures required to mitigate the likely impact of the Rushden-Higham Ferrers Bypass on archaeology. During previous preparartion/design work for the scheme, Northamptonshire Archaeology produced four reports detailing archaeological remains/ sites affected by the Bypass. Only one site appeared to have any archaeological remains and this is to be subject to area excavation.
