Abstract/Summary
A desktop archaeological study and related excavation ahead of the proposed redevelopment at 47 High Street, Raunds identified demolition rubble associated with a building fronting onto Church Street. The rubble contained white earthenware pottery of nineteenth or early twentieth century date. No ancient occupation or artefacts were discovered, possibly due to modern disturbance across the whole site.
