Abstract/Summary

Three small trenches were excavated prior to the insertion of services for new toilet and kitchen facilities in the west tower. Slight evidence of an early ground level was identified together with possibbly early burials. The foundations of the west wall of the church tower were identified as was a possible clay floor.
