Abstract/Summary

In accordance with best practice, archaeological monitoring was maintained during construction work in areas which had been identified as being archaeologically sensitive. Topsoil stripping in advance of pipeline renewal was monitored by an archaeologist in order to allow recording of any archaeological features in areas of identified archaeological potential. No such features were identified during topsoil stripping for the pipeline construction.
